AOL just broke out some new branding…. what do you think?

first impression is that aol’s marketing department has been spending too much time on ffffound.com – the images are a little too meta-contemporary for me to believe it. but for a company that has somehow weathered the online explosion that has been the last 15 years i have to give them props for taking the risk. they may grab some of the youth that never felt the urge to grab a new sign up disk once a month for free dial up access. reaching out to those that dont get aol jokes is a good move.
